Welcome to Breathitt County, Kentucky! Located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Breathitt County has much to offer!
Visit one of our beautiful parks, fish in our rivers and lakes, take a scenic drive in your car or on your motorcycle and view the amazing quilts painted on some of the barns throughout the county but don't get too enthralled or you may miss some of the elk roaming about.
Breathitt County has plenty of other things to offer such as Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park, golfing at Sugar Camp Golf Club, or treasure hunting at Morris Fork Crafts.
